Junior Operations Operator

Civitas Partners, S.A. is looking for a Junior Operations Operator to join our team and support our marine and logistics operations in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the coordination and execution of vessel agency and cabotage operations; support vessel arrival, berthing, departure and port clearance procedures; coordinate with port authorities, shipping agents, clients, vessel crews and other relevant stakeholders; prepare and maintain operational documentation and reports; monitor vessel movements and operational activities; assist with customs, immigration, port and other regulatory requirements; ensure timely communication and follow-up of operational activities; support the Operations team in resolving day-to-day operational issues; ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable maritime regulations. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Transport, Shipping, Business Administration or a related field; previous experience in vessel agency and/or cabotage operations is essential; knowledge of port operations and shipping documentation; good communication and coordination skills; ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines; good command of English and Portuguese, both written and spoken; good computer skills, particularly MS Office; willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required by operations; previous experience in Cabo Delgado or the northern Mozambique maritime sector will be an advantage.
